KUALA LUMPUR: The Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing Ministry will call all 480 Kampung Kerinchi PKNS flat owners for a meeting at 8pm on March 12, at the SMK Sri Pantai school hall, Jalan Kerinchi Kiri, Lembah Pantai, to brief them on the proposed redevelopment of the area.

A balloting process will also be held at the meeting for residents to pick which redevelopment plan — there are four plans — they are in favour of.

Ministry officials will first reveal the names of the four developers interested in redeveloping the area.

Residents will then view the four redevelopment plans of the prospective companies at the meeting.

All residents would vote after the viewing process which will be followed by a vote-counting in full view of everyone.

The results of the winning developer will be immediately announced. The minister, Datuk Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin, said he was sure most residents would be satisfied with the final selection as it will be done in an open and transparent manner.
